In this day and age I hear so many crazy stories about people and their animals. Usually they're not so good, the kind of stuff that makes you want to punch one of these wack animal owners in the eye. I'm constantly hearing about people who live with like 50 cat and the cats poop and pee all over the place and basically live in their own poody. The simple fact is that I feel horrible for the animals and believe firmly that animals, in most respects, are helpless when it comes to this type of treatment. I feel like some people out there deserve this more than a helpless kitty. I know for a fact that a quarter of the American population are ignorant and yes, stupid.
Okay, the story that I've linked to is far from a story, but it's the concept of this cruelty that should be extinguished. Hey, when Bob Barker tells people to go get your pets spayed and nuetered some people really should. Alright, this weirdo in Florida (you can't blame the heat) had 14 dogs, 1 cat, 1 turtle, 1 ferret and a bunny cramped into his house in a so-called "homeade zoo." Obviously this guy should of had 1 or none of these pets around. When we talk about pet population control and how it's a problem I think that we should reconsider and think people control. There are so many people out there who are in most regards useless. Examples: murders, rapists, petefiles, racists, Osama bin Laden, and of course animal abusers. I firmly believe that the punishment for putting 14 dogs through hell should be comparable to what they went through. I'd like to see 15 animal abusers put in a cramped appartment so they can live without food, attention and hopefully frolick in their own dookies.

(Yo, I actually posted this last week, but i'm a donkey when it comes to this ish.) With all this war happenings in America and beyond I am worried for many reasons. Loss of life has already broken my heart, economic loss will break my wallet, but with threats of mass bombings and a possible WW3 I'm nervous about the breakdown of our environment.

In WW2 Europe was left devasted. Cities were eliminated and recovery was a long process. What about America's bombing of Japan? The people there are still suffering from deformities and although the environment looks good, it hasn't recovered. We killed the Vietnamese jungles, filled with near extinct species and still they haven't recovered. America shouldn't be the next victim of this nor any other country. NYC is in shambles now and even though the conditions there will improve there is a slight chance that other parts of the country (DC already) could suffer from this. I hope, pray and believe that this shouldn't happen, but will it??? http://www.islandpress.org/ecocompass/war/war.html
